Why a hot tub?
Sekä paljussa että ulkoporealtaassa voit nauttia ulkoilmasta, lämpimästä vedestä ja hyvästä seurasta. Palju vaatii kuitenkin ulkoporealtaaseen verrattuna työläät esivalmistelut ja jälkityöt. Ennen kylpemistä palju täytyy ensin täyttää vedellä ja vesi lämmittää puilla. Ulkoporeallas on aina käyttövalmis. Kylvyn jälkeen palju täytyy pestä joka käyttökerran jälkeen, kun taas ulkoporealtaan voi jättää odottamaan seuraavaa kylpykertaa.
The impact of warm water cannot be overstated. Warm water relaxes and creates a feeling of weightlessness, enhances the body’s recovery from exertion, reduces muscle tension and improves sleep quality. The hot tubs are ergonomically designed and their massages properties relax the whole body.
Take a dip in the warm water at any time. The hot tub is always ready to use and the water temperature can be adjusted with a few clicks of a button. The water in the hot tubs is treated with a fibre filtration system, uv, an ozonator and cleaning chemicals.

How do I choose the right hot tub?

Before you buy an hot tub, you should consider where to put it. Does the location limit the size of the hot tub?
Another important consideration is the number of bathers. How many people will mainly bathe in the spa? Adequate space will increase bathing comfort.
The Novitek range offers hot tubs in different sizes from 190 x 160 cm up to 275 x 230 cm.
The next step is to think about the intended use of the outdoor hot tub. The choice of a hot tub will be influenced by your own preferences in terms of, for example, massage features.
If you want to focus on the massage features of the spa, you should consider the number and power of the massage pumps.
The design of the hot tub also matters. Novitek’s collections include spas ranging from simple designs to a wide variety of design options.
Choose from seating, lounging and a combination of both.
We always recommend that you try out a spa. This way you can be sure that the depth of the seat, for example, is just right for you.
Before buying an outdoor hot tub, make sure you have enough electricity in your home/cottage. If necessary, an electrician will be able to help you with the electrics of your installation.
Our outdoor hot tubs are available with 1 x 16A (230V), 2 x 16A (230V) and 3 x 16A (400V) electrical connections.
Please remember that the auxiliary heater always requires its own 1 x 16A (230V) electrical connection.

When buying a hot tub, take a special look at the factory installed accessories. It is much easier and more cost-effective to purchase factory-installed accessories when you buy your spa than to install them afterwards.
The additional heater heats the water to the set temperature faster and maintains the temperature even in the coldest temperatures.
For higher latitudes, or if the location is at all windy, we always recommend choosing a factory fitted 3kW booster heater for your pool.
ControlMySpa remote pool control is designed for greater flexibility and ease of use.
The app allows you to be connected to your spa via your mobile device, wherever you are.
You can control the temperature, schedule, manage lights and receive notifications, among other things.
Recessed panelling is an absolute choice when the hot tub is to be embedded in the terrace.
The spa is a long-lasting investment and can also be relocated. Even if you don’t sink the pool immediately, recessed panelling allows you to do so at a later date.
Two piece paneling panelling is neat and unobtrusive. There is no visual difference between recessed panelling and normal panelling.
What kind of foundations does the hot tub require?

An outdoor hot tub can be installed directly on the ground, on top of a terrace, embedded in a terrace, on a balcony or even indoors.
There must be at least 50 cm of space around the outdoor hot tub for access and possible maintenance.
Each straight wall panel of the hot tub must be accessible without obstruction if necessary.
The foundation must be straight, level, structurally coherent, free of fouling and able to withstand the weight of the hot tub unchanged. The outdoor hot tub has a base insulation, so there is no need to add separate insulation on top of the foundation.
Good materials for making the foundation:
concrete
stone slab
brick
gravel
wood
When installing an outdoor spa on a terrace, the same requirements must be met as when installing it directly on the ground.
You must also ensure that the terrace has sufficient load-bearing capacity to support a weight of between 2 000 and 3 000 kg, depending on the spa model.
If the outdoor spa is embedded in the terrace, separate service hatches must be provided on each side of the terrace.
The service hatches shall be made so that the side panels of the hot tub can be opened and work can be carried out next to the hot tub if necessary.
If the spa is fitted with the optional factory-installed recessed panelling, separate service hatches do not need to be provided.
The maximum embedment depth is 40 cm from the bottom of the pool to the top of the terrace.
How will the hot tub be delivered and moved?

The outdoor hot tub is delivered to the plot in an upright position on a trailer.
The hot tub should be lifted from the pallet to its final position on its side or turned to a horizontal position. This can be assisted, for example, by the use of load lines.
The outdoor hot tub must not be slid along the ground, so sufficient porters must be available to move it.
The outdoor hot tub can also be lifted into position, for example by means of a crane.
How is the hot tub connected?
Electrical installation must be carried out only by an authorised electrician.
The electrical connection must be fault current protected.
The electrical supply may be drilled through the external cladding of any corner of the pool or through the bottom pool lift chute. The side of the hot tub behind which the control panel is located is marked.
The conductors shall be stripped approximately 20 mm and the earth connection shall be made appropriately
The wiring sequence is always marked inside the control centre next to the in-line connector.
If your hot tub has an optional auxiliary heater ordered from the factory, it will always require its own electrical connection. The auxiliary heater is connected to its own 1 x 16 A (230V) electrical connection.

However, when designing our outdoor hot tubs, we have taken into account potential risk factors and ease of maintenance.
The insulation panels are attached directly to the outer cladding, making all components easy to maintain.
All pumps and electronics are mounted on pedestals so that any water entering the pool’s machine room will not damage them.
All pumps and electronics are also replaceable without draining the hot tub.
All spare parts are in stock, so you can rely on us to get your hot tub back in working order quickly. In the event of a problem, contact your dealer or the nearest authorised service centre.
